Fergal MacCabe’s article https://offalyhistoryblog.wordpress.com/2020/07/25/unmoving- statues-public-sculpture-in-offaly-by-fergal-maccabe/ led to a wider interest in public sculpture in Offaly from the historic to the current and the idea of a booklet profiling the pieces and their context emerged.

Early in 2023 photographer Paul Moore was approached and he is interested in photographing the pieces in their setting throughout the year.

The outcome will be a booklet for public which will be available in late Autumn and social media updates from Paul Moore and Offaly History.
