The Record Break Café is the focus of many cultural activities including art exhibitions, Ennis Book Club Festival and Culture Night events, monthly poetry readings, book launches, musical events and lectures.

The most recent group exhibit opened on 7 Dec 2019 and will run to March 2020.  It involves nine local poets (one writing as gaeilge) and nine local artists. The exhibition showcases Ekphrastic Poems written in response to the exceptional paintings on display.

The Record Break will create a publication of local art and poetry to document the art and poetry displayed in the café.  It will also create a website where events can be streamed, publications made available and which can be used to showcase local artists' exhibitions and books.  This will add to the availability of arts and culture in Ennis Town.
