The Musical Instruments Project recycles donated musical instruments and loans them through the library service to anyone who wants to learn to play music. 

Workshops will be delivered as pop-up sessions in libraries, with a minimum of one workshop day in each Municipal District: Tralee, Listowel, Corca Dhuibhne, Castleisland, Kenmare and Killarney.

Alongside instrument exploration, participants will engage in structured ensemble activities, rhythm games and collective music-making, concluding each workshop with a shared performance. The project aims to build musical skills and confidence, strengthen social connection and promote integration through shared creative activity.
