Each October, children of all ages will have the opportunity to meet some of their favourite authors and take part in creative activities.

The annual Children's Book Festival helps spread the enjoyment of books and reading among children of all ages and they will be afforded the opportunity to meet some of their favourite authors and take part in fun events throughout the county.

A wide range of events will take place throughout the county with listings available in branches and on www.roscommoncoco.ie website.

The festival has been running for several years now and it will continue to be a central focus for library services for young readers. It hopes to encourage reading in young people and to foster a love of books by engaging with them on a new level.

Our six branches will be hosting events to suit all age groups, and we hope this will be one of our best years ever!!
