Supported by the Creative Roscommon Open Call, Boyle, Castrlerea, Roscommon and Ballaghaderreen Foroige members will take part in 2 ongoing projects that will let their creativity shine. 

Through Our Lens and Sugar Sculptors are two youth-focused creative projects that empower young people across County Roscommon to explore, express, and celebrate their world. Through Our Lens supports teenagers in Boyle to document their town through photography, culminating in a public exhibition at the Boyle Arts Festival that offers a fresh, youth-led perspective on local identity. Sugar Sculptors introduces children in Castlerea, Ballaghaderreen, and Roscommon Town to the art of sugar craft, developing creativity, confidence, and fine motor skills through hands-on, expertly guided workshops. Together, these projects place young people at the centre of cultural creation, fostering skills, pride of place, and meaningful community connection.
