Samba Stew is a new samba band based in Mullingar. The group is formed with the aim of making music and bring people together. The group will begin meeting once a week to learn and play samba rhythms in August/September 2023. The project involves recruiting members, buying equipment, being mentored in setting up of the band and lessons in Samba drumming. 

The group will have creating social bonds at its core, there will be refreshments provided at each practice session and space to chat before and after the practice sessions. It is our hope that we will be performing at events in 2024.
