Samba le Chéile is a new community samba group based in Athenry Music School. The group was formed to learn, play and celebrate Brazilian percussion while creating a space to meet new people in Athenry.

Rehearsals take place over 2 x 10 week terms and anyone over 18 is welcome to join!

Weekly Wednesday eve sessions will take place at Clarin College. from 7-9pm with a tea break for people to connect and socialise. 

• Term 1 - April & May 
• Term 2 - Sept - Oct

drop-ins are welcomed but we do encourage you to join for all of the rehearsals to get the most out of your Samba le Chéile experience. 

Connecting people in our community and playing samba ‘together’ is at the heart of this project!
