Scarecrow Trail

This Scarecrow Trail gives youth, families, and businesses the opportunity to get creative. If creating a scarecrow is not your thing then walking around the trail in the village admiring the work and ingenuity of others may appeal. It is open to anyone who wishes to make a scarecrow and this year's theme to will be announced later. If you live in the village you can put your scarecrow where it can be viewed from the street. If you wish to make a scarecrow but don’t live in the village a ‘surrogate garden will be allocated to you’. It is free to register your scarecrow. Maps of the trail are for sale on the day, with hopefully restrictions being eased, there will be tabletop sales and a tuck shop in operation. This is run by the girls themselves and all proceeds are divided equally between the 4 Units - Ladybirds, Brownies, Guides and Senior Branch. This project is a community celebration of working together and creativity, run by a youth group.  This is the Scarecrow Trail's 4th year.
