SEEK is an arts, heritage and culture festival aimed at attracting some of the world’s best outdoor muralists and urban artists to Dundalk, to help promote the town’s heritage, culturally and artistically, refocussing the area as a vibrant hub for creativity.

The town's inaugural urban art festival, SEEK 2019, was a tremendous success, bringing visual art to the streets and getting people talking. Over the course of a week, three internationally acclaimed artists created murals, which told part of Dundalk's history while a fourth brought a much-needed splash of colour to a dark alleyway.

Building on the massive success and legacy of the 2019 inaugural festival, SEEK 2020 will be a seven-day event, hitting the streets in August from Saturday 1st – Saturday 8th..

The historical individuals being highlighted and celebrated in 2020 are Dorothy McArdle, St Oliver Plunkett, St Brigid / Brigid of Faughart, Sir Francis Leopold McClintock/the Arctic Fox, Railway Heritage / Sir John Benjamin Macneill.
