The project is a collaboration with St Annes Special School in Roscrea. It involves a residencey in the school and the creation of a new work.  Little Bigtop artists Joanna and Julie will engage with the pupils to bring meaningful creative experiences to them, the reflective practice embedded in the process will ensure the artists will be guided by the young people and reflect their responses as each week progresses. This input into the early stages of the creation of new work will ensure the piece truly responds to and reflects the needs of the audience. The resulting piece of work will be a piece of theatre for a young audience who often find work created for general audiences can be inaccessible to them. The piece will then be available to wider communities and audiences and families who include children with complex needs or profound autism beyond St Annes school in Tipperary or nationally.
