As part of ‘The Art of Life Project’ this mindful art workshop will provide a meaningful and engaging way for adults to explore and start conversations about death and dying. Most of us don’t want to think about what will happen after we die because we are living our lives, however the ending of our stories matter too. When we are open to talk out about death and dying with our loved ones, we create an opportunity to engage in meaningful exchanges before its too late.

Workshop Agenda 

• Welcome and brief intro to the project. 

• Sharing of questions we never expected to be asked! 

• Participants will be guided to create a personal art piece, that represents their thoughts, and feelings on the subject. 

• This hands-on activity encourages personal reflection and group discussion. 

• No prior creative experience is necessary

Aims 

• Enhanced comfort and openness in discussing death and dying. 

• Increased understanding of personal and collective attitudes towards death. 

• To foster emotional expression and mutual support among participants.
