'Side by Side' will bring two artists working in different mediums together to 'present' and 'respond' to each other's work. The 'presenting' artist will be commissioned to present a new original work or existing work and this piece will be captured on video. The 'responding' artist from a different medium will be given a copy of footage of the presenting artist's work and sufficient time to devise a response to this work and this will also be filmed.The finished pieces will be presented as separate videos playing side by side.

This series of video pieces will be presented online, presenting the work of these artists and showing the unique connection between both artists and how one artform can mirror another.
