Six Irish Native Trees

Six Irish Native Trees is a short movie describing 6 different native trees, where they like to grow, what life they support and what they do for us in terms of eco-system, or nature services and of course, how to identify them. This project will allow groups to access knowledge about essential species that grow in so many settings all around the Ireland, in easy bite-size packages that are loaded with engaging facts. Identification, biodiversity potential, biodiversity services and its place in Ireland will all be discussed and explored in an easy, accessible and engaging way. Each tree will have a 3 - 5 minutes, making this an ideal learning tool for schools, families or any individual or group that want to recognise these massive plants that grow all around us, all professionally shot to help with identification, setting and of course, enjoyment. With so much exploring of our local places in recent times, we have all had the opportunity to notice and wonder about the nature around us. By watching this movie, anyone can learn where to look for these different species and appreciate how they fit into the nature outside our doors. This in turn, enhances our outdoor experiences by giving knowledge and understanding to the natural world that not only surrounds us but we rely on, in so many ways.
