Small Seeds
Small Seeds is a multifaceted art and ecology project devised by Brenda Kearney, bringing together workshops, artists, educators and communities to foster creativity and collaboration between people and plants. Taking inspiration from the systems of shared resources used by fungi and plants (mycorrhizal networks), we will work together through drawing and mindfulness to increase interconnectedness and a stronger affinity with biodiversity.
Small Seeds emphasises self-care and community care, through a Kildare-based programme of in-person workshops, online mindfulness classes, informal drawing sessions and a 'forest bathing' experience. In between events, participants will be encouraged to continue drawing, to meet online and to share their work.
Workshop dates and details will be available soon on the project Instagram page.
