“So, you wanna make a movie!”

“So, you wanna make a movie!” is a project aimed at young people aged 16-24 who have an interest in film making and storytelling.

Young people from the catchment area of Connect Family resource centre, Drogheda will be offered to apply for a place on this exciting film project which will run during the summer months. The participants will develop skills to make and collaborate their own short film with professional youth workers and film makers.

This film will have a special screening at Droichead Arts Centre were the young people, their families and the community will be invited to attend this event.

While on the programme participants will learn how to develop characters, photography, teamwork, storytelling, and acting. An exploration of what community means to them today will be reflected in the workshops and film. The workshops and filming with take place in the perimeters of Connect FRC and its surroundings.

Bookings for the film will be through the Droichead Arts Centre. Date to be confirmed.
