Songbirds is is a community based initiative with positive mental health at its core. The group varies in age for mid 40s to mid 80s and are under the guidance of local choir director Angela Reynolds. 

This group has expanded to approximately 20 people and are united by the love of music and song. Their weekly meetings each Wednesday evening are well attended and enjoyed by all. The group performed again during Bealtaine Festival which celebrates creativity in older people. They also performed in other venues. A Christmas concert is once again planned.
