St. Mary's Cathedral Sculptures

In order to preserve the structure at the main entrance and boundary walls to the cathedral, the organisers of the project will have to remove several large Poplar Trees that are causing damage. They had designated that particular area, at the corner of Bridge Street nearest the Locke bar,  to be a wild flower garden. The idea is to retain the bottom  section of the trees, that will in turn be used by chainsaw sculptor and artist, Mr Will Fogarty to produce a suitable piece that will enhance the general area, and hopefully create a unique attraction within the Medieval Quarter.
