Dublin City Council have recently commissioned and installed a portrait of Kathleen Clarke the first Lord Mayor of Dublin in the Dublin City Council Chamber.

The first female portrait in City Hall. Jessica Freed coincidentally has written a tremendous new play that will receive its first staged reading under the portrait on November 4th 2022. This funding is also to develop and commission the play that will further develop the play and produce it in 2023 with additional support by Dublin City Council Commemorations Office.
