STAMP

STAMP is a pilot 3-day festival showcasing authentic co-created experiences in arts, design and craft. The programme will offer visitors and Corkonians alike the opportunity to explore creative arts, design and crafts through direct engagement with local practitioners and experiences in locations throughout the City and hinterland.

Over 50 events, exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, panel discussions, screenings and markets have been conceived and scheduled with an emphasis on interaction and experiencing-by-doing or by making in order to gain a true taste and appreciation of what Cork’s local creativity has to offer. This means opportunities for the public to try their hands at printmaking, origami, life drawing and botanical art, to name but a few activities, as well as to view fabric painting, woodturning and ceramics-making up close.

Delivered as a collaboration between Benchspace, Cork Craft & Design, Sample Studios and Shandon Art Studio, brought together by Cork City Council and the European Cult-CreaTE project, STAMP celebrates local identity, placemaking and heritage and demonstrates the four organisations’ contribution to the local economy by creating transformational tourism opportunities.

Please note that the details of events listed above are provided by the relevant Local Authorities.
