This year's Still Voices Short Film Festival is a very special fifth-anniversary hybrid festival and a jammed-packed programme of events with a superb line-up of truly amazing short films which will be available both in-person and online over the festival weekend.

While based in Ballymahon, other venues are being utilised across three counties – Longford, Westmeath, and Roscommon. Still Voices are delighted to welcome acclaimed director Terence Davies to the midlands for a special screening of his 1988 masterpiece ‘Distant Voices, Still Lives’, after which the festival took its name. Family-friendly screenings and a children’s animation workshop will also return as well as industry panels for established and budding artists alike.
