Strange Birds present

The Strange Birds Choir is made up of members of the North Leitrim Intercultural Forum who have been working for the last couple of years with local musicians Ciaran Rock and Brian Sweeney. Their aim is to create live music events in the region that showcase the joy of singing together, learning each other's songs and singing in many languages. They want to reflect a society of diversity and culture using song as the medium, music as the language and fun as an outcome.  Strange birds are planning to showcase a mix of music online through autumn 2020 - and hopefully in live events as Covid19 allows. 

For Culture Night Strange Birds are presenting a live Youtube screening filmed at The Glens Centre Manorhamilton and will be joined by musicians Nicolaj and Zoltan; Ricardo and Aiden, Shane Rooney and the bands Free Speaking Monkey and Wierd Ear.
