Sustainable Glass Design with the Glass Society of Ireland in Leitrim 

Make your own drinking glass workshop in this fun workshop, join the experienced instructors from Glint Glass Studio to design and create your own drinking glass and stirrer. Using specialist equipment at our pop-up studio at the Dock, students will learn techniques such as grinding, and engraving glass under supervision of the expert instructors. Make a juice, whiskey or cocktail glass in this one-day workshop. By the end of the class, you will have your unique recycled glass to bring home. It’s fun and a great chance to meet like-minded people in Carrick on Shannon. All materials are provided.

Stained glass workshop Join us at our pop-up studio at the Dock Carrick on Shannon, for a stained-glass workshop where our expert team with will introduce you to different stained-glass techniques to make a copper foil (Tiffany) stained glass piece. It’s a unique workshop where everything we make will be made using waste glass pieces.

No experience is necessary as our instructors will guide you through understanding glass design, cutting glass to a specific design, grozing and grinding glass shapes so pieces can be soldered to create a unique stained-glass piece. All equipment and materials are provided.
