​​​​The Taken for a Ride Project is a collaboration between Ita Morrissey and the writers group The Banshees. Together, we will create new works of theatre that will be shared and performed around Kilkenny and on the local buslink. The project is designed to promote creativity, connection and community involvement with a particular emphasis on climate action.

Our project is community driven, aimed at promoting climate literacy and active engagement in climate action through creative means. Our goal is to use art and creativity to educate and inspire individuals in our community to take action on climate change. The new written pieces will have a focus on the local environment, people’s personal responsibility to sustainability and the use of the local buslink.
