AHA African storytellers have established this project to broaden an understanding of the diverse African cultures living in County Carlow to help the community experience it first-hand and without having to travel to the continent of Africa. AHA African storytellers will work with various areas in the community; including schools, nursing homes, community centres, libraries and more, targeting all age groups in delivering aspects of our diverse African cultures through; storytelling (including African folktales), creative story writing, poetry, singing, dancing, acting, and drumming.
