The Barn Ensemble established themselves as a small music group after meeting one another during their participation in our 2021 music teaching residency programme for older persons, and their shared love of making music.

In 2022, Phase 2 of our music teaching residency programme for older persons provided the with a series of one-to-one lessons delivered by professional performing and teaching musicians.  Phase 3 of the music teaching residency rolls out in 2023 to provide further music tuition to the Barn Ensemble group with a programme led and managed by musician and renowned harpist Aisling Ennis.
