The Book of Kildare Exhibition

'The Book of Kildare', is an original and unique interpretative work of art in a Celtic Insular style Calligraphy and Illuminations, inspiration for which was the writings on the lost 'Book of Kildare' by the Scribe Gerald of Wales. The completed collection of calligraphy pages and a corresponding illuminated page takes the viewer on a journey of Kildare's rich heritage, place names, history, topography, and people.

It is learning through the experience of Art. The exhibition will take place during Féile Bhríde 2023, a celebration of Brigid of Kildare that draws visitors from all over the country and world. During the exhibition, workshops in calligraphy will be offered to visiting groups of all ages.
