Artist, Carole Nelson will create a suite of piano pieces called the Brosna Suite which will reflect the River Brosna in different phases of its journey, the wildlife, the weir, mills and bridges, human activity along the river and the challenges the river may face.

Every river tells a story from its rising to its final destination and that story will be told through music. It is inspired by the Brosna Relay initiative whose aim is to reveal and celebrate the natural and cultural heritage of the River Brosna through engagement with and between communities along the river corridor. The artist will seek to bring local musicians and music groups into the project for a concert in the locality.
