Kinvara Community Orchestra presents 'The Dance of Life', a 10-week, creative community project, culminating in two multi-dimensional performances in Kinvara Community Centre on May 31 and June 1, 2025.  The project will have 3 strands: Music, Poetry and Dance. 

In the first eight weeks of the project, the Orchestra will gather weekly for rehearsals, diving into an array of new music that explores diverse stories in the individual’s dance of life.

Weeks 9 and 10 of the project will comprise collaborative rehearsals with the orchestra, ensemble, poet and dancer, culminating in two public performances.

'The Dance of Life' will offer a unique blend of creativity, collaboration, and community engagement. By combining music, poetry, and dance, this project aims to create a thought-provoking and celebratory experience for both performers and audience alike. It will celebrate the universal journey of life, its challenges and triumphs, with a powerful narrative brought to life through diverse artistic expressions.

The collaboration of these different art forms promises to be an enriching cultural experience that will resonate long after the last dance. We expect it will deepen community connections while offering a compelling performance that will captivate all who participate and attend. We hope you can join us!
