The Hall For All explores the phenomenon of the Irish Village Hall as a physical, cultural and intergenerational space for people to come together to showcase and share their crafts and skills, and hold events.

Focusing on Saint Mary’s Community Hall (fondly known as The Hall) in the south-Wexford village of Fethard-on-Sea, this placemaking film project will work with the community to document the activities that take place in The Hall. 

Through a three part documentary series it will explore and demonstrate how essential the village hall is to socialising, enterprise and equity in rural Ireland. A public showing of the documentary will take place in Fethard in the autumn of 2024. Dates to be announced.
