This Project will invite the local community to creatively explore the heritage of The Plots as the area transitions into a renewed public space. Building on the successful Creative Places Ballaghaderreen programme, the project will centre on collective memory, shared space, and local identity—particularly around the historic Anne Dean Well. Through a series of artist‑led workshops including walks, sketching, storytelling, participatory mapping, and a public Lazy Wall Gathering, residents of all ages and backgrounds will contribute to shaping a sense of ownership and belonging. The project activates heritage as lived experience, supporting community connection and positive engagement ahead of the park’s redevelopment in 2026.
