The Lullaby Leaf Project for Children with Down Syndrome: A collaboration between the Creative Ireland Teams in Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Meath
The award-winning artistic company Ceol Connected is researching and developing a multidisciplinary sensory art programme for children with down syndrome. The voice and experience of the child will be central to the creative development of this theatrical performance.
Creative Cavan is partnering with Monaghan, Louth, and Meath Creative Ireland Teams on this project.
Following the conclusion of the project research and development, the programme will tour not only the NEDS centre (North East Down Syndrome Centre in Carrickmacross, County Monaghan) but other centres in Counties Cavan, Monaghan, Louth, and Meath in 2022, spending at least one week in each county with approx. 2-3 workshops each day.
Creative Cavan, Monaghan, Meath and Louth will promote this project on their social media channels in 2022.
