The Return of the Wren Boys is an exciting commemoration of a traditional celebration where the community would come together, musicians, dancers, performers often wearing playful costumes made from locally sourced materials.

Leona Reynolds will be working with  local singers, dancers, entertainers, story tellers & musicians from Ballinamore and surrounding areas, including some members of the  1970 & 1971  Wren Boy's , who will be there to share their stories and experience's .

 They will collaborate and work together to combine their knowledge to develop an inclusive intergenerational Wren Boy performance with a twist to share with the wider community as part of the the Ballinamore Family Festival  2024.
