Shannonside Mens Shed are working with Shannonside UBU Traveller Youth Project on an intergenerational community  Garden project that connects all members of the community through creative engagement with nature.

As part of this project, Trisha McLoughlin of the Sligo Woodland School will engage with  families through creative connection with nature while developing new skills and having fun. Offering unique opportunities to explore and use natural materials while engaging in a range of outdoor adventures such as: Foraging and Making Nature Based Art & Crafts, Nature Embodiment games & Songs and Bush-craft skills.

Horticulturalist Seamus Scott will guide the project working closely with Shannonside Mens Shed trough workshops on planting and landscape design.
