The Waxed Lemon literary journal hosts a 2021 summer series of craft workshops for emerging artists.

The Waxed Lemon journal was founded by Joanne McCarthy and Derek Flynn in 2020 under the funding of Creative Ireland. This journal was a huge success. The second edition will launch in summer 2021.

This summer workshop series will invite contributing artists of the journal and artists in the wider community, to come together to participate in craft workshops. The craft workshops will be delivered across Zoom and will engage in a range of themes and genres. As with the underlying aims of the journal, attention will also be paid to establishing artistic relationships and opening opportunities for artists to engage with the local artistic community.
