Threading Places – Wicklow Connections is a photography and public space project that will uncover and chart various person-to-person connections between a diverse range of people in Co. Wicklow. The exhibition will place an emphasis on connection, and ask the viewer to go on a short urban journey in their exploration of the project, guided by a map that charts the location and meaning of the images. Connections, now more than ever, are vital to human well-being and form the backbone of communities and the project aims to demonstrate this in a way that is engaging and thought provoking. A series of connections will be recorded through portraiture photography and the resultant images will be exhibited at three locations in Wicklow Town as part of an open air exhibition.
