Durational Art performance in conjunction with Cavan Arts Festival 17-19 May.

Trans-art is a non-profit platform for contemporary art in Cavan established by Joe Keenan,  Siobhan Harton and Sally O’Dowd in 2011. We commission and showcase work by artists who are committed to pushing the boundaries in their practice. We see Cavan town and its environs as a platform for showing multi-disciplinary work by emerging, early career and established artists.

trans- in the title trans-art is as prefix meaning across, beyond and through.

trans-art represents many art forms, and attempts through diverse practices, to bring art closer to the people.
