We are inviting all secondary schools to take part in this year’s project Waterford 40 years from now. With the help of our neighbours, second year students of Architecture from Waterford Institute of Technology along with trained facilitators will work with students as they create vision of Waterford 40 years from now.

Waterford 40 years from now focuses on the growth and change in Waterford City, from past to present. Collaborating with secondary schools, local businesses and organisation, we aim to create an exhibition that is inclusive. Supporting culture and creativity across all communities, providing opportunities of community development, a sense of ownership, and providing greater opportunities for participation in cultural activities, local and county level. By taking in these workshops we aim to encourage participants in actively engaging with the environment around them. This project is inclusive and empowering to local communities.
