The Waterford Film Centre is a local filmmakers co-op which aims to develop film making in this region, increase the skills of the local film community, provide opportunities for local filmmakers and aim to create more jobs in this sector in the years to come.

With the assistance of funding from Creative Ireland Waterford, the Waterford Film Centre will complete two locally produced Films; The Check Out Girl and Imbolg. These films are locally made on micro-budgets finished to a high quality and will enter national and international competitions when completed with the aim of putting Waterford on the map as a film making community and location.
