Mural art on the newly opened WCQ Place: Community and Cultural Hub using a participatory process developed as part of the Creative Europe Murals for Communities project. Mural art agency The Walls Project working with community-engaged artist facilitators work with service users of Waterford Integration Services, social housing tenants, local businesses and residents to consider the added value this renovated building brings to the neighbourhood. The project is co-funded by Waterford Cultural Quarter, an urban regeneration project bringing vibrancy, animation and innovation to the O’Connell area of Waterford city through the lens of culture.

The Mural will be painted as part of the 10th Waterford Walls festival, a programme led by The Walls Project and supported by Waterford City and County Council as a flagship festival.
