Ossory Youth's Youth Pride Committee is delighted to present an exciting programme of inclusive, youth-led events as part of Kilkenny Pride 2026, celebrating creativity, community and self-expression.

22 July – Pride Talent Show: Young people aged 13–21 are invited to perform, participate, or join the audience for a Pride-themed showcase of talent and creativity.

24 July – Rocky Horror Picture Show Screening: In association with YIFM, young people aged 16–21 are invited to a special screening. Come as you are or dress Rocky Horror style – goodie bags for all attendees!

25 July – Aisteach Café: A welcoming queer brunch with food, music and conversation before walking together in Kilkenny's second-ever Pride Parade.

In preparation, participants have worked with artists Roibí Rua (poster making) and Blaise Butler (lino print, zine and prop making), while Freddie Greenall will document the events throughout the weekend. This project promotes inclusion, belonging and creative expression for LGBTQ+ young people and allies.

Everyone is welcome. Come along, get involved, and celebrate Pride through creativity, community, and connection. All equipment is provided.
