Zoom @ Hugh Lane Gallery

Zoom@Hugh Lane Gallery, the Gallery’s city-wide outreach project for primary schools has completed its first phase (December 2018-June 2019) with children from twenty-six schools throughout the five administrative areas of Dublin City Council visiting the Hugh Lane Gallery, many for the first time. Through the Zoom project the Gallery aims to enable the creative potential of children, through looking at artwork on display and the making of art during an artist-led workshop arising from what the children will have seen and discussed.

Zoom@ Hugh Lane Gallery, supported by Dublin City Council and the Creative Ireland programme, aims to engage year-on-year with every primary school in the Dublin city area, continuing with an additional twenty-six schools in the new school year 2019-2020. Zoom@Hugh Lane Gallery is curated Jessica O'Donnell Head of Education and Community Outreach and Liliane Puthod, Project Facilitator.
