Ceol le Chéile – Donegal’s Choir of Ages

The Donegal Intergenerational Music project Ceol le Chéile is a collaborative social inclusion initiative, led by Donegal County Council and supported by the HSE, Healthy Ireland, Creative Ireland, Letterkenny Institute of Technology and Local Link.

The choir have performed 13 times in public to date, headlining Donegal’s flagship cultural festival, Earagail Arts Festival along with Daniel O’Donnell in 2018 and with Máire Brennan from Clannad in 2019. The choir has also performed at various social inclusion events including Social Inclusion Week, Connecting for Life conference, National Convention of Older Persons Councils and the launch of the TILDA mental health in older people conference. During Bealtaine 2019 the choir performed at numerous nursing homes in the county.
