Creative Ireland asked a group of young people to join us on 22nd October 2019 for the first in a series of Creative Conversations Wilder Youth - this wide ranging panel discussion celebrated the incredible energy of Ireland's young creative practitioners.

Our host for the evening was 2FM DJ Tara Stewart who was joined on stage by will be breakout hip-hop duo, Tebi Rex, actor and writer Roxanna Nic Liam, podcaster Molly Parsons and Junk Kouture fashion designer Cian Newman.

As well as a live set from the hip-hop duo, Tebi Rex, Tara Stewart and the guests spoke about their own experiences of making work, their creative process, how they’ve been supported in their work in music, theatre and fashion and what more can be done to help other young people realise their potential. They’ll also discussed the mental health benefits of a creative life, the tension between hobby and career and the challenges of bringing creativity to life.
