Creative Ireland Programme Scheme evaluation process

Evaluation process overseen by a panel of nine experts from a broad range of fields.

As per the guidelines issued in relation to the Creative Ireland Programme Scheme, a panel of external experts were selected to assist in assessing proposals received under the new Creative Ireland Programme Scheme 2018/19.

Aiming to identify, support and collaborate with a range of strategic partners on compelling and innovative projects, grants of €10,000 to €70,000* were made available to individuals, organisations, community groups, colleges, cultural institutions, and more, through the 2018/2019 scheme.

Panel of Experts

  • Dr Pat Bogue, founder of Broadmore Research & Consulting, freelance research consultant.

  • Maeve Butler, Acting Assistant Arts Director at Waterford Healing Arts Trust.

  • Dominic Campbell, co-founder of Creative Aging International.

  • Karen Downey, curator, producer and arts consultant, board member of Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.

  • Róise Goan, freelance arts programmer and board member of Macnas and The Lir.

  • Lorelei Harris, award-winning radio documentary maker and cultural consultant.

  • Hugh Maguire, cultural heritage advisor, lecturer and curator.

  • Kerry McCall Magan, Head of Academic Programmes, Dublin Business School.

  •  Dr Ailbhe Murphy, artist and Director of Create – the national development agency for collaborative arts in Ireland.
