Glór / Voices Dance project was an incredible creative dance project designed to develop and nurture the creativity and expression of seldom heard young people with additional needs.

Centred on the voice of young people in both design and implementation, the project featured a series of accessible, inclusive dance workshops and events between Spring 2024 and Easter 2025.

The workshops and events were facilitated by a dynamic team of contemporary dance artists including Deirdre Grant ( Creative Lead ), Lynn Cahill ( Project Manager) and Rachel Ni Bhraonain, Trish Murphy and Susie Lamb ( Freelance dance artists).

The project featured two public showcases of the work produced by the participants, “Turas” and “Féach” and concluded with a Town Take -Over Day in Waterford City with a dance trail performance.
