ICAD – The Best Of Us Projections Exhibition

During the first week of December ’20 The General Post Office, Dublin’s most iconic building and Barnardos Square beside Dublin Castle were the backdrop for a celebration of Irish creativity by the Institute of Creative Advertising and Design (ICAD).

These monumental projections lit up both historic exteriors to promote The Best of Us, and featured work commended by a distinguished panel of national and international judges in the 2020 ICAD Awards.

In a statement, ICAD President, Rossi McAuley said: “We feel honoured as an organisation for the opportunity to exhibit the power of Irish creativity on buildings that embody so much of our nation’s history and heritage.”

ICAD is a non-profit, membership-led body founded in 1958 to foster, promote and reward creative excellence in Irish advertising and design. The current Covid-era focus for ICAD is on creating interactive support forums and skills-training initiatives with creative partners and associates.

The Best of Us is part of ICAD’s response to promote solidarity amongst the creative community. The exhibition will also highlight to the wider community, the profiles of Irish creative talent currently working on behalf of Irish brands, and assisting in the national recovery.
