Teen Literature Festival 2025

Cork County Council Library and Arts Service is delighted to announce the return of its annual Teen Literature Festival, a programme packed with events on writing, health advice and climate change offered to secondary school and Youth Reach students in Cork County.

This exciting programme of events will run throughout November, encouraging young people to engage with their local library service and discover everything libraries have to offer.

As well as the One County, One Book programme for teenagers—which this year features the graphic novel Global by Eoin Colfer, Andrew Donkin and Giovanni Rigano—we will be hosting insightful discussions with some well-known young adult authors, including Zainab Boladale, Adiba Jaigirdar, Susan Cahill and Jenny Ireland.

An assortment of online webinars on topics relating to this year’s One County, One Book theme of Climate Change will also take place.

The Teen Literature Festival is supported by Creative Ireland and Healthy Ireland.

All these events are free to attend, but places are limited so booking is essential. For more information or to book your place at an event please contact: schoolslibrary@corkcoco.ie
