The Gathering Festival offers a vibrant and varied programme celebrating community, culture, and heritage across the weekend. 

On Friday, the festival begins with a live podcast recording, “Reminiscing in the Rock,” featuring local heroes sharing stories and memories. 

On Saturday, the programme continues with a Community Cuppa, celebrations for Cruinniú na nÓg, and live music from Band Tully. 

On Sunday, the focus turns to tradition and community with a special Mass with the Rockchapel Church Choir and a lively craft fair, alongside open-air performances, street entertainment, and family fun activities for all ages. 

Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy a curated art exhibition in the Old Post Office, showcasing the creativity and talent of the local community and traditional Sliabh Luachra Seisuins in Murphys Bar and Paddy Mollys.
