Local Studies staff of Cork County Library will host a series of roadshows in various branches across the county. Members of the public will be invited to bring along personal items of cultural/historical interest. 

These items will be photographed/scanned in high resolution – the images will then be curated into an online collection (hosted on www.corklocalstudies.ie) and/or booklet. Written and oral recordings will be made of each item’s history (this might relate to the person who brought the item in, their immediate/wider family, the history of their locality/Cork County/National).
