10 Hands Crafts, organised by Angela Brady, is a collection of 10 incredible craftspeople from West Cork who represented Cork and Ireland at the Hangzhou China Craft Week from November 1st to 5th 2018 in China. The 10 Artists are Alison Ospina (Green Wood Chairs); Kieran Higgins (Wood Turner); Paddy McCormack (Metal Sculptor); Etain Hickey (Clay Ceramics); Angela Brady (Fuse Glass); Patrick Connor (Clay Ceramic Sculptor); Brian Lalor (Copper Etchings); Úna Burke (Designer) Jim Turner (Clay Ceramics) and Mary Palmer (Tactile Craft). On foot of their success to date, 10 Hands Crafts was invited to exhibit at London Craft Week, which took place from May 8th to 12th 2019. With thanks to Creative Ireland, Cork County Council was in a position to support 10 Hands Crafts in 2018 through the production of a promotional video. Creative Ireland funding in 2019 was used to allow for final editing of this production so that it could be tailored for use in the London Craft Week. The 10 Hands Exhibition in fact stayed in place in London until June 9th 2019 and was most popular.
